Post 3 - My favourite movie

My favourite movie is an argentinian movie called “El Secreto de sus Ojos” by Juan José Campanella. It's a crime drama film based on the novel "La pregunta de sus ojos" by Eduardo Sacheri, who also co-wrote the screenplay. In 1974, Benjamín Espósito (Ricardo Darín), a judiciary agent, investigates the rape and murder of Liliana Colotto. Benjamín promises her husban, Ricardo Morales, he will find the killer and give him a life sentence. Espósito is helped by his alcoholic partner and best friend, Pablo Sandoval (Guillermo Francella) and the new department chief and Benjamín's romantic interest, Irene Menéndez-Hastings (Soledad Villamil). This movie won the Academy Award for Best Foreing Language Film at the 82nd Academy Awards on 2009. I really like this movie because its screenplay is amazing, the film use a nonlinear narrative, the plot is unpredictable, is full of symbolism and it is starred by two of my favourite Latin American actors, Ricardo Darín and Soledad Vi...

Post 2- My favourite piece of technology

Imagen
My favourite piece of technology is the camera. A camera is a device that consist of a lightproof chamber with an aperture fitted with a lens and a shutter through wich the image is projected onto a surface for recording. This surface can be a photosensitive film, in the case of analog cameras or an electronic sensor in digital cameras. I have many cameras, analog and digital. I usually use both cameras to take pictures, but I can record videos only with digital camera, so I use it more often. The analog camera is for special occasions. Of course nobody took it seriously, but anyway, here I am. When I grew up, I thought choose a traditional career such as nursery or law, because I had good grades so everyone expected a lot from me, but I liked the arts. I wanted study film or theatre. One day, I went with my mom to the Normandie art cinema and we saw an argentinian movie called “Hombre Mirando al Sudeste” by Eliseo Subiela. I remember I was impressed with the scene of the orchestra playing Ode to Joy and I thought “I would like to do something like that one day”. Two months after I discovered my favorite movie, another argentinian movie called “El Secreto de sus Ojos” by Juan José Campanella, at that moment I decided that telling stories was what I really wanted to do. I think there are many stories to tell, injustices to report and realities to portray, that ...
